machine gun kelly Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 We wait with patience for the team to develop under it's new players, coaches, and schemes, that's what. It takes time for rookie QBs to develop, and it takes time for teams to adjust and become comfortable with new schemes. Does anyone not think that our defense is going to be even better next year, with a full year of Pettine's scheme under their belts? They're just getting started. Well Said! I have confidence we will have another solid draft adding probably three good players, or if we trade down possibly four (G, TE, ILB, OT, Big WR) The other are competing for back up spots if at all. I'm also confident we secure a couple of good role players to add depth like Robey, Branch, Hughes and so on. The real concern is how many do we let go as we can't secure resigning them. Byrd and so on. We can't afford to lose talent. Everything else stated above is dead on.
JPS Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Saints last year They had an unprecedented amount of turmoil and still ended up with a better record than the Bills will have this year. We need a great QB.
BuffaloBill Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 The truth is QB play matters greatly and we have had marginal results. EJ must take a big step forward next year. If (a big if) this happens and the Bills have a smart FA period and draft this team could be much improved next year.
Doug Flutie Band Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 the magic answer is very simple: you need a good QB
