Surprised that Kyle hasn't kicked him in the nuts by now, maybe he leads by example and hope it rubs off but obviously Marcell was doing his own thing feeling entitled.

Hopefully the benching gets the job done.
Prickly Pete Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I think people are going to read way too much into this. And I don't think it's going to "put the fear" into any players. It wasn't a playoff game. It wasn't a crucial game on the schedule. It wasn't early in the season. I know there is a strong contingent of "get in their face" fans here. If Dareus has been doing this all season long, then for this kind of punishment to be effective, it would have had to have been implemented long ago. I just think Marrone is in a foul mood, and got tough on Dareus this week, but it is an isolated incident. I doubt it transforms the team, or improves the play of Dareus. "We talkin' 'bout practice".
