dascottbills28 Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Robey should be considered for DROY, even though a nickel corner wont get it!
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 That one sack where he timed the blitz perfectly and they knew he was coming.., wow. I think he was player of the game.
Fixxxer Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 (edited) It's a shame he couldn't tackle Tannehill for the safety, it would have been the cherry on top for a fantastic performance. Edited December 22, 2013 by Fixxxer
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Robey should be considered for DROY, even though a nickel corner wont get it! He's been very good for the past few games. Certainly not the whole year.
jaybee Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 That one sack where he timed the blitz perfectly and they knew he was coming.., wow. I think he was player of the game. On defense, yes. On offense, I give the nod to Fred.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 On defense, yes. On offense, I give the nod to Fred. Agreed. Jackson was unreal.
eSJayDee Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 That one blitz that he just blew by McKinnie, it occurred to me that McKinnie is a foot taller & over twice Robey's wgt! Yes, one heck of a game for him today.
oman128 Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 the bills definitely brought their A game on defense today offense played pretty well too. special teams returning and kick return horrible
GunnerBill Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 (edited) He's been very good for the past few games. Certainly not the whole year. I think that's harsh. I think for an UDFA rookie starting Nickel corner he has done very well indeed, he has been a find. Outstanding game today not just the headline plays but the number of times Tannehill wanted to go to Clay and Robey had him in such tight coverage that he couldn't go there. thurman34 Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Robey's been solid all year and was a beast today but DROY? Cmon, no way!
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 I wouldn't say DROY, but the Bills got immense value for an undrafted free agent.
dezertbill Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Another great UFA signing in the secondary. He is perfect for Pettine's defense. Just adds value to this past year's draft class
Nitro Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 I lie it when coaches put guys in positions to excel. Robey maximized is opportunities today. Need a few more like him on the team. He had a great game.
NewEra Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 He's been very good for the past few games. Certainly not the whole year. Name one rookie that has been good all year. Kiko? He's had a couple bad games. Richardson. He's had a couple bad games. No rookie has been good every game. Robey shouldn't win ROY, but he's had a great year for a nickel back. Yes....a great year.
Maury Ballstein Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 He's money. But. Kiko and Sheldon Richardson have that DROY race locked down I think.
Bufcomments Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Lil Big Man is my fav player this year. They found a player. Now if we get another LB like Kiko and keep Byrd we gonna be excellent on D . They are better coached and its showing big time.
dezertbill Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 While I agree that Robey SHOULD be in consideration, he won't. Alonzo and Richardson are all over the press. They hit the ground running and have played well all year, and their stats a their position overwhelm what Robey has put up, which is something that will be considered.
