Bill from NYC Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Edwards seems like a good guy, but he is untouchable despite despite nonsensical rantings, threatening a reporter, violent sideline outbursts, issuing the owner an ultimatum, etc. Hackett is the latest fall guy, but Edwards is the problem. Thank goodness he is coaching the jests.

More more excuses from those morons.
mead107 Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 soon it will get edwards . hope the jets keep him 5 or 6 more years
Greg de'Ville Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 soon it will get edwards . hope the jets keep him 5 or 6 more years 211262 At this rate, he won't last that long. Now, the buck stops with Herm, period. No more excuses.
gantrules Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 They darn near went to the championship game. They would have if not for that kicker...and something is wrong with their team?

Now that he is gone, should we even bother watching football in 2005? the Jets are unstoppable now!!
DC Tom Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Acoording to Jets fans, EVERY loss is Hackett's fault. 211407 Stupid Jets fans...don't they know it's all Bledsoe's fault?

Alaska Darin Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 I dont even think Bills fans regarding Bledsoe reach the insane levels of Jets fans with Hackett. 211433 You underestimate our fugtardia. Stop it.

duey Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Now that Hackett is gone, lets see if everyone in NY finally wakes up to the fact that Chad Pennington is NOT the next Joe Montana. He is nothing more than an average QB with an average arm. And a brittle QB at that. Hey Chad, how about making it through a season without getting injured. Next season is going to be very interesting for the Jets. I think 8-8 will be a great accomplishment for this Jets team next year.
Like A Mofo Posted January 19, 2005 Author Posted January 19, 2005 The Jets just need more cowbell. 211466 Or maybe their own stadium....they play in GIANTS stadium!!!
Just Jack Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Or maybe their own stadium....they play in GIANTS stadium!!! 211470 They're trying.... New York Sports and Convention Center
Like A Mofo Posted January 19, 2005 Author Posted January 19, 2005 They're trying.... New York Sports and Convention Center 211498 Ill tell you what, I know a few Jets fans here who are livid about that...as that will really hurt tailgating.
Buftex Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Maybe they should blame Drew Bledsoe, and Travis Henry for being a "locker room cancer"...just a thought!
Bill from NYC Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Ill tell you what, I know a few Jets fans here who are livid about that...as that will really hurt tailgating. 211500 A tailgate will consist of 12 dollar beers in trendy bars where no smoking is allowed. I would rather exercise freedom with the TBD crowd at Lot 1/Pole 5.

(Hopefully when I go next year, Ill be able to read the map and find Lot 1 Pole 5 like I wasnt able to do for the Steelers game!!) On second thought, now I HOPE that new stadium is built in Manhattan!!!
