bisonbrigade Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 (edited) Here are teams in the top 15 and how the Bills stacked up. 4th ranked Carolina Panthers, won 24 to 23. EJ game winning drive. 5th ranked Saints, lost 35 to 17. 6th ranked Chiefs. lost 23 to 13, If Jeff tuel doesn't toss a pick at the goal line we could of won. 7th ranked Patriots. lost 23 to 21 on last minute FG. 9th ranked Bengals lost in OT, 27 to 24. Thad Lewis at QB. 12th ranked Ravens won, 23 to 20. Kiko INT seals win. 14th ranked Dolphins won 23 to 21. Mario sack steals the show. When you look at it only one game was a blowout, with Thad Lewis at QB. Other wise 3 Wins and 3 losses. not to shabby with a rookie QB and coach. Edited December 17, 2013 by bisonbrigade
NoSaint Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 1-4 against the top 10 - not that impressive.
bisonbrigade Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 (edited) If you look at it closely it really is especially as the Bills were competitive in all the games but one. Just shows they are on the right direction. Of course you wins are what matters, but you can see this team is going to be real good real soon. I think they Win the next two games. The Ravens game can't even be considered a game manager game. You could have put a fan at QB and they could have competed in that game with 5 picks.

Winners win losers lose Although I agree with you (see the Monday night game last night), this is clearly a different team than in years past. Look at point differential, yardage, first downs- they're competitive finally- they just need to learn how to win. And a big giant wide receiver.

What does the fact that the Bills have lost 4 games against the worst teams in the NFL.........the ones that are slotted AHEAD of them in the draft right now? LOSSES: Tampa Pittsburgh Cleveland Atlanta WINS: Jacksonville combined 1-4 record Edited December 18, 2013 by BADOLBEELZ
bisonbrigade Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 Means there a young team that plays to up or down to the competition. Everybody is a Debbie Downer.
Dorkington Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 So what you're saying is... good teams win close games.
