PromoTheRobot Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Well I guess next time Marrone should be 120% sure before he opens his pie hole! How dare Marrone not correctly predict how quickly EJ would heal. What a slap in the face. I'm so done with this team! PTR
YoloinOhio Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 EJ out again this week...Thad to start. $%%$##@@#@!
Max997 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 It's the right call and I expect EJ to have surgery on the knee this offseason

Maybe Someday Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 It's the right call and I expect EJ to have surgery on the knee this offseason It's a sprain, no surgery needed...unless there is more to it that has not been released. Maybe he just needs to wear some knee braces. The trainers or someone needs to figure something out a way to keep this guy from spraining knees.

Bills of Boston Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 well... the first year to see what we have almost literally could not have gone worse.. short of him playing no games. Heal up and get ready to come out firing in 2014 Ej!

PromoTheRobot Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 The implication is obvious: it would be prudent in the future not to say he's 110% confident when he isn't. Why is this even worth discussing?
H2o Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 The implication is obvious: it would be prudent in the future not to say he's 110% confident when he isn't. Is it possible he was trying to make New England have to prepare for EJ as well versus just preparing for Thad?
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Why is this even worth discussing? Because Marrone has been a complete weirdo about reporting injuries all year, since the Mario pre-season fiasco. It makes him look inept, frankly, when he says stuff like "he'll be 110% ready."
BillnutinHouston Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 That settles it for me - we must pick a QB in either the first or second round to solidify the position.
PolishDave Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Come on Thad! Win us this game and you will be the Hero of the town for the next six months!
K-9 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 ^ Got that right. Nobody is more popular than the backup QB. GO BILLS!!!
C.Biscuit97 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Because Marrone has been a complete weirdo about reporting injuries all year, since the Mario pre-season fiasco. It makes him look inept, frankly, when he says stuff like "he'll be 110% ready." I think you put way too much stock into coachspeak. Why should a coach tell the media anything? Belichick barely talks in his press conferences. The less people know, the better.
PS 56 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I am beginning to think the Bills do in fact have a number one quarterback. His name is Thad Lewis.
