Thisistheyear Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 (edited) Hahha. Thats great! He mustve been sick to his stomach. I'm sure it was an insurance promotion and he paid the premium regardless. It's actually in his best interest to see a shutout. Way more publicity. *edit - I have a habit of skimming. I actually read the article and he paid $7,000 for the insurance premium. Not only did he drive business but Seattle is talking about Jet Chevrolet. All for $7,000. NoSaint Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I'm sure it was an insurance promotion and he paid the premium regardless. It's actually in his best interest to see a shutout. Way more publicity. yup - he paid $7k regardless and got exponentially more coverage
Just Jack Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I'm sure it was an insurance promotion and he paid the premium regardless. It's actually in his best interest to see a shutout. Way more publicity. I put together an annual golf tournament for a company I worked for years ago. The guy that did it the year before had a Hole-In-One prize of a million dollars (paid out over 40 years). I was able to get two Hole-In-One prizes of new cars ($30K and $45K) for $300 less than his million dollar prize.
BuffaloBill Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Hahha. Thats great! He mustve been sick to his stomach. The dealer purchased insurance on the arrangement.
