aussiew Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Did anyone hear the rumor that Stevie Johnson's mom died yesterday? I can't confirm.

NoSaint Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) Excerpt from the article: Â Johnson and his stepfather quickly affirm Johnson's flamboyance comes from his mother. Johnson expresses his connection -- how else? -- with a tattoo that takes up his entire right forearm. Flames rise from his wrist, where "Rhonda" is written in script, up to his elbow. A bird takes flight amid the fire. Above, it says "Live to stay fly." Underneath, "Why not?" Â Sounds like they were very close too Edited December 15, 2013 by NoSaint
Wayne Cubed Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Came out and played, showed commitment to his team. Â She was really young, RIP.

Original Byrd Man Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Stevie you have my most heartfelt condolences. This is obviously a terrible loss for you.
YoloinOhio Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Very sad, Stevie put the team first and I commend him to the fullest degree. Such sad news and I agree. I can't believe he played. To those who continue to bash his play, remember that him being on the field helps open up Woods and he knows that, whether he has catches or not. Peace and prayers to he and his family.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Feel really bad for the guy. Â If anyone questioned his commitment to the team too, this is some pretty good evidence that the guy really is a team player. Probably didn't want to leave the team in a bind on gameday.
4merper4mer Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 RIP. Stevie's mom raised s good kid from everything I can see. That is far more important than football.
