NobesBLO13 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 I think it does. EJ played much better when the run game is working and he isn't forced to carry the team by himself. And I'll add more Summers and less shotgun.
ganesh Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 This win doesn't answer the questions about EJ. Why ? He played well after a slow start.
Just in Atlanta Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Not bad. If this D gives up a couple fewer big plays a game, it could be legit. EJ played decently. Still looks slow. But when the run game is working, he's not bad. Two more games to evaluate whether he's the future or not.
ganesh Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 I think it does. EJ played much better when the run game is working and he isn't forced to carry the team by himself. And isn't that exactly the mode to bring on a rookie QB in the NFL ?
LB3 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 ****ty win Coulda been chasing the 6th seed if we didn't lose the Atl or Tampa game !@#$ this team You seriously just sound like a troll.
Wayne Cubed Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 This win doesn't answer the questions about EJ. Yea, rebounding after going 0/4 with an INT in the 1st QTR to throw for 2 TDs and rush for another doesn't answer anything. Well said...
PastaJoe Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Why ? He played well after a slow start. Against another bad team. I'm still not convinced he can accurately throw long.
Yeezus Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Aaron Williams basically won the game for us
thewildrabbit Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 And isn't that exactly the mode to bring on a rookie QB in the NFL ? yep, its just too darn bad that Hackett didn't do this more often this season. Meaningless win to some, answered some questions about players / coaches to others
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Against another bad team. I'm still not convinced he can accurately throw long. Encouraging though that he made and completed a lot of those intermediate throws. Every throw to woods was really great.
C.Biscuit97 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Look at the smile on EJ & the players' faces. Screw the losers on their couch crying about draft position.
PearlHowardman Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Yea, rebounding after going 0/4 with an INT in the 1st QTR to throw for 2 TDs and rush for another doesn't answer anything. Well said... ...against Jacksonville!
NobesBLO13 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Look at the smile on EJ & the players' faces. Screw the losers on their couch crying about draft position. Agreed
BuffaloBillsForever Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Bills got lucky today. Keep in context the Bills are pretty much 100% healthy and the Jaguars arguably have the least amount of talent in the league with their two best stars injured. Marrone and his staff looked unprepared and EJ Manuel played an average football game against a below average football team. I did not see any progress today despite the W on the score sheet. Marrone and Manuel look a lot like Jauron and Edwards out there.
NobesBLO13 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 I hope its a snowstorm next sunday Same here. I'm going and I hope it comes down like a mofo. 2002 all over again.
mjt328 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Why ? He played well after a slow start. Why does he keep starting slow? Why does he miss so many 5-10 yard passes? Why does he struggle so badly sensing pressure? (See 4th quarter fumble) Yeah, I've still got questions. Playing decent for 30 minutes did not answer them for me either.

26CornerBlitz Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Forecast for next Sunday: 40 percent of precipitation with a snow/rain mix. High temp 28 Miami won in Pittsburgh last week. No big deal.
