Leelee Phoenix Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Rest him. He's played enough snaps anyway.
FLFan Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I believe this happened earlier t his week. They rested him yesterday but Marrone said he expects him to play.
Billadelphia Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Kiko taught me how to love a woman, and how to scold a child.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I disagree with what Kiko did. Tweaking one's own knee to make it a fairer fight is noble and all, but it's just not right.
3rdand12 Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 is it too early to label him a bust? Too late for that. The play against Rainey was the defining moment. Even though Bills stopped the run besides that play. i was yelling at Gilmore for drifting on that play. Some folks focused on Kiko Do you think Sir Alonso will allow himself a game off? I think not. He will just need to start another game get ten tackles , and an interception in the first 1/4 then he can rest . while we check Ty Powell Nigel Arthur or whomever. I believe this happened earlier t his week. They rested him yesterday but Marrone said he expects him to play. It sounded like a re tweak.
peterpan Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Give him a rest. Jax is gonna push our &&& in anyways.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Rest him. He's played enough snaps anyway. Thought the same thing.
Jkgobills Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Great first year for Kiko, and he needs to be an important part of this team for years. I hope they limit his snaps for the next 3 games. He is an undersized linebacker that uses speed and quickness as his main weapon. Looking at Alonso he looks like he has lost 8-10 pounds of muscle since the pre season began. Typical of a young player, and he will have a chance to regain lost muscle and more in the offseason. We don't need our own RG3 situation with Alonso. Don't turn a tweaked, sore knee into a ligament tear.
