Like A Mofo
Raymond LOS ANGELES - Don't look for a supersized, super-stuffed final episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond." Television's most popular sitcom will end its nine-year run on May 16 with — get this — a half-hour show, CBS said Tuesday.
USMCBillsFan
Yet another awesome sitcom calling it quits. This is a very, very funny show. Sucks.

stevestojan
Funny show, but the premise got old VERY fast.. Ray would do something dumb. Wife would be mad and/or mother would be mad. Funny facial reaction for over-sized brother. Dad says "holy crap" Seriously, the show is funny, but they never left the house, and replace "ray lied about going golfing" with "ray didn't take Debra to the ESPYs" and those two shows were the same. Good to quit now instead of dragging on... Now, Jerry and Crew, quit this sh-- and get back to making about 50 more episodes of Seinfeld.

pm73
good show. i never made a point of watching it like some of the great ones (ie. seinfeld, simpsons) but i'll watch it on the syndication ever now and then and am always entertained. peter boyle's character is classic! a notch below king of queens but a good show nonetheless. can't believe it's been on for 9 years! Alaska Darin
Jumped the Shark a LONG time ago. I'm not sure what the reason is but after a certain period of time, sitcom writers change every male lead character from witty sarcastic guy to dumbass loser guy. Brutal. dib
Gee, no more: Ray screws up, tries to cover it up, and gets berated by his wife. What to do. What to do. It's the Lucille Ball show only Ray plays Lucy's role
stevestojan
"Monica Horan, who plays Garrett's wife, Amy, said her interest in a spinoff would probably hinge on what her real-life husband wants to do. She's married to Rosenthal." Rosenthal is the Executive Producer... I always wondered how she got that part...

stevestojan
good 211159 good? Why, did it bother you that it was on TV? You only have one channel and it's CBS? I mean, there's plenty of shows I don't like, but if they got canceled, I wouldn't care on way or the other. It was time for Ray to go, but I know some people (my mother, for one) will be upset about it... Anyway...

KD in CA
Ray would do something dumb. Wife would be mad and/or mother would be mad. Funny facial reaction for over-sized brother. Dad says "holy crap" 210900 So it sounds like yet another in the long, boring line of Honeymooners rip-offs. Dumb husband, sarcastic wife, blah, blah, blah..... I'm sure it will be on TBS re-runs for years to come.
stevestojan
Did Raymond save your entire family from a disaster or something? 211228 No. I didn't even like it near the end... I think it was good timing to go... like Alaska Darin (aka The Fonz) said, it jumped the Shark... I just don't know why someone would say "good", and that's all. As if the show being on the air bothered him. And stealing my lines? Come on... show some damn originality...
