Boludo Posted December 10, 2013 Author Posted December 10, 2013 I find all these by fans who know more than the coaching staff and front office really interesting. It's amazing how many of you guys just know he has no chance of being good while a coaching staff with a lifetime of experience just can't see the game the way you geniuses see it. There's a reason they give these guys time. It's because it's tough to weed out the bad ones after just a few starts because the good ones also generally look like crap early in their careers. So while you might end up being right that he'll end up not being good you'd also throw away a lot of talented QBs who started out slowly. this is a very poor argument there are bad QBs drafted and started all the time by people that have a lifetime of experience at some point you have to use your own eyes and make your own opinion and not just swallow whatever they give you
NFL95MelGrayDomination Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 If EJ sucks in 2014 cut him before 2015.
Boludo Posted December 10, 2013 Author Posted December 10, 2013 If EJ sucks in 2014 cut him before 2015. they wont tho how long did they give rob johnson? jp losman? trent edwards? ryan fitzpatrick?
NFL95MelGrayDomination Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 they wont tho how long did they give rob johnson? jp losman? trent edwards? ryan fitzpatrick? This ain't the same crew that brought us live from Toronto it's Bills football.
thewildrabbit Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I think they fire this coaching staff or just the OC before EJ goes. What QB could play behind a line that gets torn up by a 3-9 TB D line?

What QB could play behind a line that gets torn up by a 3-9 TB D line? A QB who has been anointed the savior, coached by a man whose been proclaimed to be the guy who makes us a winner, by the Chief Marketing guru aka CEO.
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Fitzpatrick Edwards Losman Johnson Need I continue? I think you forgot Holcomb
Dibs Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 they wont tho how long did they give rob johnson? jp losman? trent edwards? ryan fitzpatrick? 26, 33, 32, 52 starts respectively......Holcomb had 8 About 2 seasons of starts for the young guys each.
Boludo Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 ya spread of the course of 3 seasons just like it will be with EJ

They have to play. So go ahead and think you're a QB guru because you want to move on from every rookie QB who struggles early but the fact is you don't have a clue. Any blind man could predict that every QB coming into the NFL will not be good and be right most of the time - it doesn't mean they have any idea what they're talking about. If NFL men had the patience of fans you'd never see a QB develop.

Add to this all of the people that propped up guys like Griffin and Kaepernick, who did play well as rookies, as though they had proven themselves as franchise guys. Not so much... I'm not knocking those players; just saying that it takes time for 99% of the guys out there to find their game. The Andrew Lucks of the world and once-a-generation type guys.
mousetrap08 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 If you don't think EJ will be the Bills starter next year, you are either delusional or ill informed about NFL football. After investing the pick, if he does ANYTHING next year, they will bring him back for a third season. It's hard to get rid of these guys (ie: Sanchez). After the 2015 season, they will finally release Manuel and Marrone will be fired that offseason as well. So set your on the 2016 NFL draft, that is the next opportunity for hope for the franchise. Maybe Bon Jovi will own the team then... Where do you hide your crystal ball I would like to use it so I can get the winning numbers for the lotto.
