Coach Tuesday Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 They'll let Byrd walk, and they'll talk about focusing on a core who want to stay here and build something. Perhaps they'll let Kyle go as well. Then they'll draft a guard, a CB and a right tackle, and talk about how this was always a three-year plan and 2013 was about identifying the holes in the roster, and 2014 is about starting to fill some of those holes. Then they'll lose a bunch of games next year because of not having a free safety. They'll let Spiller walk after 2014. Then they'll draft a free safety in the first round of 2015, and try to replace Spiller with a commitee of street free agents. Then they'll lose a bunch of games in 2015 because of a lack of a dynamic running back. Then they'll fire Marrone and hire a new coach, who will insist that his new-fangled offense needs a "waterbug" type playmaker to make it work. So they'll pass over a bunch of elite passrushers and QBs in order to draft a 5'10" injury-prone running back in Round 1 of 2016. And the fans will keep eating it.
