jjmac Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Ok, the game is over. I've rarely seen a worse effort by the Bills. There's a lot of people who need to go, starting on OL. Horrendous both run and pass blocking.
PearlHowardman Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Nothing short of new ownership of the Buffalo Bills will change anything. Sorry!
Sisyphean Bills Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Dumping big salaries will fix things. Why haven't they tried that before?
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 We will dump SJ and Jairus and be about 40 35 million below cap!!!! This will help us....
Dorkington Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Sell the team and move, as far as I'm concerned.
jjmac Posted December 8, 2013 Author Posted December 8, 2013 We will dump SJ and Jairus and be about 40 35 million below cap!!!! This will help us.... Only if we can convince free agents to sign with us.
Sisyphean Bills Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Only if we can convince free agents to sign with us. The players coming into the NFL these days were like in the womb the last time the Bills were a Super Bowl team. I'm sure they're queueing up to play for a team with 7 home games and 14 years of treadmill futility. Or not. Besides, why part with the cash when profitability is so hard to come by?
Kellyto83TD Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 There are maybe 10 players I keep and can the rest
PearlHowardman Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 New ownership = new culture. A culture of winning from the TOP of the organization! A commitment to WIN from the TOP of the Buffalo Bills! Anything short of new ownership is just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Sorry!
boyst Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 (edited) Only if we can convince free agents to sign with us. off the top of your head do you know who we have as free agents? I vaguely remember right now, but was surprised that we are not that bad off, no big names. Alan Branch, who is probably worth resigning. Legursky, worth resigning in only that he could eliminate having a hole at backup if we get another OG. Jim Leonhard Moats Carrington, who I believe but cannot find to confirm is an RFA Chandler Frank Summers Jay Ross Edited December 8, 2013 by jboyst62
....lybob Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Cap savings on cutting SJ is $25,000 in 2014 - which is about the price of a roll of tape in the NFL
BilLions Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Dump anyone that has been: injury prone, made key mistakes at key times (choke artist), or has a tenure over 3 years. Oh wait, it may be easier just to sell and move the team. This team still might be good next year, but only if they can pull off another near perfect draft. Then again, if they strike gold in the draft they will just let them walk before paying them. Holy c#$& I cannot take this much more.

I vaguely remember right now, but was surprised that we are not that bad off, no big names. Carrington, Branch, Byrd, Westermann, Moats, Chandler, Caussin, and Welch are the only names I can think of at the moment.

KD in CA Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 New ownership = new culture. A culture of winning from the TOP of the organization! A commitment to WIN from the TOP of the Buffalo Bills! Anything short of new ownership is just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Sorry! And even then it might not be enough. Just look at the Sabres.
marauderswr80 Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Start with Ralph...end with water boy! F them all.
Wing Man Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Break out the time machine. Convince Art Rooney to take the Buffalo franchise.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Ok, the game is over. I've rarely seen a worse effort by the Bills. There's a lot of people who need to go, starting on OL. Horrendous both run and pass blocking. a new LG and RT will do wonders. The defense isn't too bad but the O still needs upgrades at WR, TE and QB
Dragonborn10 Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 1. New owner 2. New GM 3. New TE 4. New LG 5. New OLB And a little patience for EJ and the kid WR's.
