Here is the end of the MNF game with the Cowboys a few years ago. It's amazing watching the end of this game.

Nick Folk had never made a 53-yrd FG. He hits it as time expires, but Jauron called TO just before. So he kicked it again, and still made it.

Kornheiser says, "What do you have to win if you're Buffalo?" That just sums everything up to me.

Oh there are so many good ones to choose from . . .

- the obvious is Norwood, but that's too easy

- Yeah, the Nick Folk kick was a good one

- Homerun Throwback (forward) has to get serious consideration

- Do we have any of the Leodis McK. fumble against NE a few years ago to snatch Defeat from the jaws of Victory

- And anything with Aaron Maybin in it, or has all that video been burned

But I have to give this a vote: Just when we were about to get hope beyond hope that this team might indeed be special, a Dback torched, falling down, looks up, ball coming right to him, returns it for a TD, instead of up by 2+ scores, Chiefs back in the game and rolled us from there . . .

What immediately comes to mind is Lucy holding for Charlie and then pulling

the ball away, I know that you wanted one single play but this is one single

play, but they run it all the time.

Only one?

Pick a season. Or at least a generation.

But realistically it was the day that Ralph Wilson signed the AFL application.

I nominate whatever play preceded Lou Saban's famous rant "GOD ALMIGHTY!! WHY DO WE DO THAT?!?!"

Wasn't he with the Bronco's when he uttered that great line? And wasn't the line followed by one of my other favorites: :They're killing me Whitey, they're killing me......"

its gotta be the music city miracle. Sure norwood was a worst moment in bills history, but it was a missed fg. The music city miracle is a metaphor for buffalo sports.....as is the dallas

"no goal"

ONE play to define this franchise?

best fans in the world, best stadium in football.

You can post videos to all of the failures in the world, and all of the reasons why we're a second rate organization.

But at the end of the day, or more accurately, at the start of the season, 75,000 people show up to cheer on the underdog. To root for david against goliath. And every year we swear we won't. But week 1 next year, we'll be there, convincing each other that THIS is our year.

So post all the failures you want-that doesn't define this team.

The fact that AFTER all those failures, we're still here cheering--that defines this team.

I'd like to think it was the Mike Stratton hit on Keith Lincoln. But I'm afraid that's the exception to the rule. That hit was a game changer, though.

Man you guys all posted some great ones...but it's pretty hard for me to pick against Wide Right......heartbreaking in every sense of the word and I don't think I've ever recovered. The Ronnie Harmon dropped pass in the end zone also comes to mind as a nominee....
