Leelee Phoenix
Do not want. Kubiak has ancient run philosophy thinking.
BillsFan-4-Ever
no way the Bills make a change @ OC so soon still an issue people miss in the current passing league to date no team (QB) that leads the league in passing yards has won a SB. recent history 2012 - Brees, 2011- Brees, 2010- Rivers, 2009 - Schaub, 2008 - Brees, 2007 - Brady Edited December 7, 2013 by BillsFan-4-Ever
KD in CA
He won't be coaching next year. Strokes of any magnitude ring the bell to take it easy, reduce stress, get healthy. You're fortunate if you get a warning shot like he did with no permanent damage. This is a valid point and it's not unreasonable to think he'd sit out a year, but this is his life's work so he'll be back on the sideline sooner or later. He's not going to retire at 52. Bills Fan since '64
Don't forget that even Wanny, who was terrible as Bills DC, won a super bowl ring as DC in Dallas. "Past performance is not indicative of future results."
Mr. WEO
Nope. Execution is the problem. Stopping the other team from scoring so much is the problem. Hackett has adjusted very well, given the pure crap situation he was handed with Kolb and Manuel going down. Wasn't he "handed" Manuel when Kolb went down? Amazing how having John Elway and Terrell Davis helps you be a good OC. Yeah, really---Elway had plenty of SB wins before Kubiak and Shanny showed up. Coach Tuesday
Actually the biggest reason it won't happen is that he runs an entirely different scheme. This team is not built for the zone-stretch running game, which requires lighter more athletic linemen and a passing game predicated on play action. I love Kubiak's play design but it's a wholly different philosophy than Marrone's, which favors maulers up front. DallasBillsFan1
Wouldn't mind him as OC, but it won't happen. Marrone will stick with Hacket. I figure Hackett has one more year to prove himself. Also, no known connections between Kubiak and Marrone.
Fan in San Diego
Offense isn't really the problem so much. we still can't stop somebody on defense when the game is on the line. When that happens, our win percentage will double.
