CardinalScotts Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 if your able to watch the all 22 nothing happened on that play, I've watched it probably 15 times. I would also LOVE an answer
MattM Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Give this a rest. It is over and can!t be changed no matter how wrong it was  And part of the problem is they are human and make mistakes. It happens.  People shouldn't give it a rest until we get an answer. The League and the relevant officials should be held accountable. End of story, particularly on something as blatantly bad as that call.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 if your able to watch the all 22 nothing happened on that play, I've watched it probably 15 times. I would also LOVE an answer  Were you able to see all the DB? i would be stunned if no DB made any contact on anyone.
Justice Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Â Â Were you able to see all the DB? i would be stunned if no DB made any contact on anyone. Â Robey made a little bit of contact but nothing flag worthy.

KD in CA Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 What answer do you guys want? The ref made a bad call? They're human too....it happens.
Webster Guy Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 We've bitched about the refs for what…about 10 years? You get the calls when you are better. No you dont. The calls are based on what the officials see in that split second not the win loss record of each team.  New England has had some horrible calls cost them games this year and so did Atlanta and Carolina early in the year.
Fan in San Diego Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Pat Kirwan on his NFL radio show has a great plan to reduce these bad calls. The NFL puts a full time guy in the booth to review all calls on tape and can change them if they are bogus. I like the idea.
bbb Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 What answer do you guys want? The ref made a bad call? They're human too....it happens. Â Doesn't the league come out and say when they've totally blown a call? I would have liked that.
KD in CA Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Â Doesn't the league come out and say when they've totally blown a call? I would have liked that. Â Occasionally, if it's a big call in a big game where something was obviously wrong (like Hochuli's screw up in that Broncos/Chargers game). But certainly not for every questionable judgement call penalty in every game.
bbb Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 It got overshadowed, but it was a very big call....And, it was so horrible that I really would like an explanation. I don't need one on Robey.
KD in CA Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 It got overshadowed, but it was a very big call....And, it was so horrible that I really would like an explanation. I don't need one on Robey. The explanation is: the ref thought the WR was interfered with before the ball arrived. To get any more detail than that you'll probably need to write a letter to the official who made the call.
bbb Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Yeah, I'll get right on that..........It was illegal contact. I would think you'd have to actually contact somebody for it to be in the realm of illegal contact.
Rob's House Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Refs just gifted a win to the Pats. Officiating is becoming a serious problem in the league.
