Hopefully I won't get mocked for this, but I think "The Holiday" is a very solid Christmas movie (starring Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Jack Black, Kate Winslett). It also has a great soundtrack by Hans Zimmer.

Forgot about that movie.

Great movie

Its a Thanksgiving movie so im alittle late but the story itself doesn't really revolve around the holiday so I think it could still be watched into Christmas time so I will throw Planes, Trains, and Automobiles into the discussion

Well, if we're going off base with christmas movies:

Battleground

Battle of the Bulge

both take place over.........................

Does Love, Actually count as a holiday movie? What about Home Alone?

Both count, because if you can't say it at Christmas.....

I liked Bad Santa

Havent seen it but heard White Christmas was good

Trading Places was another good one

My wife and I watch White Christmas every year while wrapping gifts. It is a GREAT movie in the classic style. Great singing and dancing, funny, great story and you'll even shed a tear at the end.

Dude, we need to watch some Christmas movies together. You bring the Christmas shoes trilogy, and I will grab the holiday, and the romantic mood lighting.
