If not then how can the league justify playing a superbowl in Norhern Nj in Feb and not allow a home team to play outside if it choses

xsoldier54 Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 It would have been worse. If you think the turf was slippery with it closed, just let it get frozen. Would have been unplayable.
Just Jack Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Even during the pre-season games in August they've closed it. The first year in Toronto against the Steelers it was open before the game, but they closed it before kick off.
