I have been there probably 10-12 times. Most of the time for the sausage roll in the morning. Twice for lunch. They're great fresh. Not sure about frozen.

Pasties... The original "Hot Pocket!" Welsh miners would heat them on their head lamps for a quick, easy lunch! Rutabaga would make a nice meat alternative. Pasties (and pasty shops) are really big in the UP of Michigan. Ding! Lunch is ready... YUM!

I took over the kitchen at the Hollywood Athletic Club on Universal City Walk in the mid 90's. It was an upscale billiard club with pub influenced food. They had bangers and mash on the menu and I was horrified to see that they fried the bangers.

I worked with a British guy and he said he always wanted to serve a dish that was a take off of bubble and squeak. He wanted to make a combo dish of pheasant and trout and call it field and stream
