linksfiend
I have been there probably 10-12 times. Most of the time for the sausage roll in the morning. Twice for lunch. They're great fresh. Not sure about frozen.

ExiledInIllinois
Pasties... The original "Hot Pocket!" Welsh miners would heat them on their head lamps for a quick, easy lunch! Rutabaga would make a nice meat alternative. Pasties (and pasty shops) are really big in the UP of Michigan. Ding! Lunch is ready... YUM!
Jauronimo
Meat pies are the only thing the British cook well. I just bought "Boil it Till Its Grey". Its the most comprehensive collection of classic British recipes ever published.
Chef Jim
I just bought "Boil it Till Its Grey". Its the most comprehensive collection of classic British recipes ever published. I took over the kitchen at the Hollywood Athletic Club on Universal City Walk in the mid 90's. It was an upscale billiard club with pub influenced food. They had bangers and mash on the menu and I was horrified to see that they fried the bangers.
PaattMaann
I have had these because The Black Market Food Truck sometimes sells them - I had a sausage roll and a potato and cheese/onion one - all very delicious

Chef Jim
Do they serve Spotted Dick for desert? (It's pudding ) I worked with a British guy and he said he always wanted to serve a dish that was a take off of bubble and squeak. He wanted to make a combo dish of pheasant and trout and call it field and stream
