Terrakon Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I am so glad we beat the Jets last week. They are easily my least favorite team followed by the Cowboys, who I almost feel sorry for. Haha. I kind of miss the Bills/Miami rivalry of yesteryear. I guess it still exists but we have all gotten sidetracked with golden boy and Bellicheat and of course those dumb ass jets. I think with this week off and no football stress for most of us, except for fantasy, it's a good time for introspection. Lets think about why we love these Buffalo Bills. Why we love Buffalo and our families. And why we should really be encouraged for the future of our franchise. Lets all enjoy this Thanksgiving and look for our Bills to come out of the bye kicking ass and making us proud!
BuffaloWings Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Part of me wanted to see the Bills get right back at it after the complete performance against the Jets, but a week off doesn't hurt them. Stevie and Woods need the rest so they can be ready next week. That said, it will be nice to watch the RedZone channel and not worry about what the Bills are doing.
K D Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I think a week off will be good for my blood pressure. I've been getting too worked up since really the first preseason game. My heart can't take these close games week in and week out. So the bye week can be beneficial for fans too!

I'm pulling for the Ravens over the Jets; the Panthers over the Phins; and, of course, the Chiefs over the Chargers. GO CHIEFS!!!

Forget where I saw it now but Marrone was saying if we played this Sunday, everyone would be ready to go. An extra week of healing can only help.
PromoTheRobot Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 The whole Bills schedule debacle continues this week. ATL played Thu so even they get extra rest before playing the Bills coming out of a bye.

plenzmd1 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I hate off weeks! So making it a doubleheader here. Heading out at 11.30 to start tailgate for the Richmond -William and Mary game..Aldo known as the Capital Cup. Game has been played since 1898! That game starts at 4, but the Spiders basketball team on at 12 and gunna whoop on UNC. Watching that in the lot. Ten supposed to go to dinner with 2 other couples at 8.... Oh boy gunna be a long day. But at least day of rest tomorrow
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 The whole Bills schedule debacle continues this week. ATL played Thu so even they get extra rest before playing the Bills coming out of a bye. I noticed that too. We lose the only advantage we have with a bye. That said, I am glad we won before the bye, otherwise this would have been a long and depressing 2 weeks.
Bills fan since 87 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I hate off weeks! So making it a doubleheader here. Good luck today however, especially against UNC
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 yes and no. with no Bills games the yard work I was going to do on T-giving weekend I now have to do tomorrow
K-9 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 The bye is the last thing EJ Manuel needed coming off of last week's performance. But the rest of the team certainly needs the time off. That's a long grind from the start of training camp to week 12. Especially for rookies. GO BILLS!!!
Coastie Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Going to the sports bar at the casino with my brother and our friend who are Bucs and Lions fans respectively so they can watch their matchup. Me, I will be wearing my old Colts Manning jersey and pulling for our entire division to lose while we get healthier. Oh and most likely losing about four hundred bucks on video poker.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 yes and no. with no Bills games the yard work I was going to do on T-giving weekend I now have to do tomorrow better now than latter
Dibs Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I understand the benefits for the team and players.......but I hate having to wait the extra week to see the Bills play.
3rdand12 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Thank gosh we are coming off a solid win .
