YoloinOhio Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) Love this... http://queencityspor...r_rankings.html Edited November 22, 2013 by YoloInTheBlo
G-Daddy Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 See what twerking and railing sliding/falling by the fan base can get you? We're #1 baby! The link is blocked for me though (at work).
YoloinOhio Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) Cut & Pasted it for you! Sorry but can't do this - edit by BuffaloBill - you can take an excerpt but not the entire thing. He added this at the end: Doesn't take long to see the passion in Buffalo. This. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BL9zAFl5OG4 Edited November 22, 2013 by BuffaloBill
NoSaint Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 probably will be asked to cut it down to just the bills section
C.Biscuit97 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 True story. I'm awesome. But seriously, how many other fanbases would be as loyal and crazed as we are after missing the playoffs 13 years in a row?

We've had our fair share of blackout games too, and ones where Ralph had purchase the remaining tickets. The passionate fans are truly great, but I don't think our football culture is on par with the Packers honestly.

It's not hard to support a playoff type team. We haven't had that in 13 years. But GB is a great fanbase. And NE should be lower than 18. What a bandwagon fanbase.
NoSaint Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 I think the Pack struggle with attendence issues pre-Favre. yea but were talking 20 years ago. whole different conversation and whole different league today.

Oh, I know that, but some people would have you believe that RWS is rocking at full capacity when the team is in the mire, as if the fans are impermeable to the losing. It's just not true. I WILL say, however, that the start of each season is treated with the same optimism regardless of everything. Opening day is really something else in Orchard Park.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Everyone here is biased, but this is a really great list. Putting aside the Bills at #1, this guy has come up with a well-reasoned ranking. I think we can quibble with a few things (e.g., Philly, Seattle, Jax, Indy too high?), but not many. Really well done.
Leelee Phoenix Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 I admit that the act of trying to rank NFL fan bases is ludicrous and pointless. Yep
May Day 10 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 a few flaws in that list, and it would have been better if the writer went a little more in depth... but it is what it is. He takes a hatchet to New England, but for the lists the same 'characteristics' and boosts Indy and New Orleans. Would definitely list the Giants higher.
YoloinOhio Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 I don't live in Cincy but I live close enough and know enough Bengals "fans" to completely agree on that one. Could not have said it better. I would have ranked Browns fans higher.
Kirby Jackson Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 I am trying not to be a complete homer here but I do believe that the Bills have one of the top fan bases in the NFL. Loyal, knowledgeable and passionate fans are hard to come by in some places (see NE).
section122 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 I died laughing at all the comments about Bills fans being badwagon fans. What exactly are people bandwagoning on? The playoffless streak?

How many fan bases would spend all this time with the playoff calculator on a bye week because their team with a rookie QB and HC got to 4-7, even though they haven't been to the playoffs in 14 years? Do you think that if the Pats were in our exact position that people would either watch or attend their games still? I don't!! We really are a special breed and I think that is why other fan bases tend to like us and respect us. At least I like to think that is the reason that they admire us (not the fact that they feel bad for our heartbreaking losses and decade and a half of irrelevancy).
nemhoff Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 #1 in something, just wish it was on the field not in the stands

It is a tough list to do but think the guy did a decent job overall.
K D Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Love it! It's cool when other cities recognize us. I think we already felt this way but it's nice to be validated by fans of other teams
