Captain Hindsight Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) Justin Rogers and Johnny Adams released per mobile app . DB Mario Butler signed to PS Rogers has been inactive for several weeks but I'm surprised they let him go. Thought maybe they were trying to develop him Edited November 19, 2013 by Captain Hindsight
26CornerBlitz Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Definitely past time for him to go. Let's hope they put that roster spot to good use. Now if they could just get rid of Crossman during this bye week.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Justin Rogers, we never knew ye.... (Actually, we did quite well).
Big Turk Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 11 weeks too late, but better late than never
John from Riverside Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Robey came in and made him expendable
Saint Doug Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Justin needs to man up and apologize to us fans.
oman128 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 I'll say one thing for the Bills and Marone and the new GM, they aren't keeping any of the "old dead wood" we had around here, its time for new faces, and its all aout what have you done for me lately!
DC Tom Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Who's the next man up? EJ Manuel. 'Cause, y'know...he's a bust.
Luxy312 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 The days of letting players develop year after year after year are over. Rogers wasn't good enough to be a backup. That's all there is to it.
mjt328 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 It may seem like common sense... but it makes me happy that this new regime can RECOGNIZE the players that are pulling this team down, and aren't afraid to cut them if they aren't working out.

Exactly this. How many years does Rogers get to improve enough to be a BACKUP? This is 3. Enough is enough.
QCity Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 This move may have just vaulted T.J. Graham to the top of The Whipping Boy list.
GunnerBill Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) He is horrible. I had hopes that the new coaching staff might get something out of him because there is athletic talent there he is fast, he has a good leap.... but he is hopeless at recognising routes and tracking the ball and he seems to get shrugged to the ground so easy. Santonio Holmes swatted him away like an insect in the first Jets game. Liability. The coaching staff may have turned around Williams, McKelvin and Searcy..... this was one miracle too far.... jjmac Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Who will take Rogers' place on the roster? Is it time for Meeks to come back?
26CornerBlitz Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Is it time for Meeks to come back? Forgot about him being I-R designated to return. Could be the move for the open roster spot.
Big C Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Robey has been a stud and Brooks is a solid #4. We are loaded at safety and several can line up at CB if necessary. I assume they are making room for Meeks, but I can't figure out who the other spot is for.
