Andrew in CA Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Hard to disagree with McKelvin. Aaron Williams has improved, as well.
Kirby Jackson Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) That's a really good nominee. Leodis has turned into a great corner (borderline elite). Aaron Williams is right there as well. He has improved a ton. They are neck and neck. I said it in another thread but I am feeling the same way about Cordy Glenn. He was a little further along as a player than Leo or Aaron last year though. So I guess McKelvin gets the gold, Aaron Williams the silver and Glenn the bronze. SageAgainstTheMachine Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Hands of stone aside, you can tell that Leodis is happier than a pig in **** playing man coverage. He sticks to his opponent like flypaper.
Wagon Circler Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I'm going to go with Aaron Williams. Dareus is making a run.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Is Mario in the conversation? Maybe Kyle too?
PromoTheRobot Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Jerry Hughes, even though he was a Colt last year.
Rubes Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Interesting how they are all defensive players....
Big C Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Interesting how they are all defensive players.... Defense was the more disappointing unit and we've seen several players step their game up. Plus we've seen more turnover at key positions on offense (QB, WR namely).
Charles Romes Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Glenn is the silent franchise player on this squad but was too good last year to qualify for this award. 1 sack surrendered all year with rookie QBs, one with johnsonesque tendencies to hold onto it. Are you kidding me.
Green Lightning Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) 1. dareus 2. leodis 3 aaron williams Switch 1 and 2 and that's got it. Edited November 19, 2013 by Green Lightning
BuffaloBaumer Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Dareus has been a monster and is taking games over.
3rdnlng Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Stop for a moment and think about how nice it is that a half dozen players are being mentioned. This portends well Bill's fans.
mjt328 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 I think every player on defense looks better than last season, except maybe Gilmore.
