bbb Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Both the faller and fallee went home today. Actually last night. Which I'm really glad to hear about the fallee.
Buftex Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Where's the twerker? http://deadspin.com/buffalo-fan-twerking-for-bills-would-not-make-mom-prou-1466359640

JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I'm curious about the legal angle for the guy who got fallen on. Does not your ticket contain small print about waiving certain rights and your purchase of the ticket indicate your agreement with that? This is not a rhetorical question - I seriously don't know. I don't have a ticket stub on me to look at it. I did find this, which talks about the difference between this type of thing and an injury caused due to something that might happen as a part of the event like a foul ball or something.
notwoz Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I'm not a lawyer, Jay. But I would assume that the language on the ticket says the Bills are not responsible. That said, I don't think the language on the ticket would prohibit the guy who was fallen on from suing the guy who fell. That's assuming the guy who fell has any assets that would be at risk from a lawsuit.
Tsaikotic Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 wow..there are some real smart ppl out there commenting on this...per PFT: - "Banning him because he fell? Prototypical Classless Bills Organization" - "Guy almost dies and you ban him? Based off of the reasons they have that he was banned, 40% of people who attend NFL games should be banned."
Gugny Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Patsy Cline would be cashing in right now if she was alive.
bbb Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 great news indeed. I was actually expecting the fallee to have suffered a brain injury or even to have died. So was I. That's what seems to happen with drunk drivers. The driver they hit gets killed and the drunk driver is "treated and released."

Whether or not this person goes after the Bills as well, you better believe that the team is going to go out of their way to do right by this guy. I'm not sure what his situation is ticket-wise, but he's probably got lifetime season tickets out of this one.

Is he a friend of yours or do you not care that he put other people at risk? guy should never be allowed to go to any sporting event ever.
Rob's House Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Some guy got killed this way at a Braves game a few years back.
bbb Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Is he a friend of yours or do you not care that he put other people at risk? guy should never be allowed to go to any sporting event ever. I think you're on the same side on this.
Just Jack Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Out of curiosity, how would they even begin to enforce a stadium ban for an individual? Revoke a season ticket account, sure... But a ban I just can't picture any effective way. Pictures of the banned person, posted in the security office. Each game security would look it over to remember it. If spotted, verify identity and remove person if it is him.

The technology certainly exists if the Bills felt it was worthwhile to implement it.
Dragonborn10 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Want to keep this guy and people like him out? Build a new stadium with only 62,500 seats and raise the ticket prices 35%.
Jerry Jabber Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I don't feel sorry for the dumb azz that slid and fell. I feel sorry for the guy he landed on as he had a head injury from the retard landing on him. I hope he calls Celino & Barnes and sues his drunken retarded azz.
