mart Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Great win, the Bills much the best today. Talk about which came first, the chicken or the egg-awsome defense,vs horrible QB play by the Jets. As Geno Smith has struggled before, probably a combination of both. What tempers the win though, is there may never be another with the featured back gaining 6 yards in I believe 13 carries. Anyone worried about Spiller?
nucci Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I enjoy wins. If you choose not to that's ok.
mart Posted November 17, 2013 Author Posted November 17, 2013 I said a great win and am enjoying it, I guess the truth hurts though.
Captain Hindsight Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 We won an hour ago by 30 points. Its about time we started pointing out we suck again
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Teams constantly win without a credible rushing attack. Remember the Packers' Superbowl run? That said, there has to be a better way to use Spiller.
Maury Ballstein Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 the truth does hurt and also plays small forward for the Brooklyn Nets. poor day for a rb against top run D ain't that scary. 37 points on the board.
MDH Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I like being giddy. I'll worry about the Bills sucking again in a few weeks. For now we get a two week afterglow.
PO'14 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I think we should bench CJ and SJ for the remainder of the season. Play FJ, Choice and Summers and Hogan and Goodwin as the main guys!
Big C Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Why not? This was the first genuinely FUN Bills game to watch this season.

iinii Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I'll take a big ole fat slice of giddy! Especially with two weeks to enjoy it. Heck yeah.

Leelee Phoenix Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I'm not In the end, this win hurts the Bills Out of the playoffs, gunning for 8-8, ugh It's hard to imagine the Bills in a worse spot. 4-7, team is probably a bit better than that, very easy schedule the rest of the way with barely a mathematical chance to make the playoffs that requires winning at Mr. Belichick in Week 17. All of which ends a middling draft pick, too much hope for Manuel, and blaaaah.

All of which ends a middling draft pick, too much hope for Manuel, and blaaaah. We are a game and a half out of the wild card right now. It looks like most of the AFC is just going to keep beating each other up and we will have a mess of teams in the 7-9 win range. The Browns QB situation and lack of running game is going to keep holding them back, we have the tiebreaker on Baltimore, I don't believe in Miami or NYJ to really separate themselves and I anticipate sweeping Miami in any case. The Chargers still have to play KC twice and Denver one more time. I wouldn't be so quick to rule out an 8-8 playoff berth.
Max997 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 (edited) For the record Fred Jackson started but he didn't fair much better The defense set the tone and won this game today a long with a nice bounce back game from EJ Edited November 17, 2013 by Max997
Hapless Bills Fan Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Great win, the Bills much the best today. The Jets gameplanned to shut down the run and dared EJ to beat them throwing. EJ took the dare. Next game, DCs won't sleep well planning a "stop the run, dare 'em to pass" game plan against the Bills and our RBs will have more room. End of story.
nucci Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I said a great win and am enjoying it, I guess the truth hurts though. Nothing hurts. We crushed the jets. You can looks at negatives. I don't feel like it right now. I'm not In the end, this win hurts the Bills Out of the playoffs, gunning for 8-8, ugh It's hard to imagine the Bills in a worse spot. 4-7, team is probably a bit better than that, very easy schedule the rest of the way with barely a mathematical chance to make the playoffs that requires winning at Mr. Belichick in Week 17. RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I predicted in the shout box that even a win would result in the complainers complaining about draft position. Sometimes I wish I was wrong about the infinite capacity of human beings for pointless negativity.
