This case and the discussion in PPP has always revolved around the lack of evidence and which story was more plausible. Most of the people who you see as GZ defenders could care less about him (and also recognize that the guy is a knucklehead). But if you take one step back to actually read the commentary and examine the facts of the case, you will see why there was support for GZ's verdict. Read Tom's description above.
