The Poojer Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 i would think the shelf life would be very short..the wine would leech the can way more than beer would, i would imagine....but i hope they figure this out...i'd love to see the artwork on the cans
mead107 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Will get back to you on taste. Just seems wrong. Took some time with the milk carton packaging to get use to.. Not a huge sreew top fan.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 There is an It's Always Sunny episode about this...
CowgirlsFan Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Nay for home.....wine glasses are better BUT...yea for around the swimming pool because of the glass factor.
Chef Jim Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 The only thing positive about this is that light is bad for wine so the can would help with that. Otherwise......NO!!! And meade don't disregard the screw top idea. Cork is an ancient sealing method that is the number one reason wine goes bad.
Nanker Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Horrible marketing wrt packaging. If they're going to do that they could easily make the cans in the shape of bottles to differentiate better.
