Johnny Hammersticks Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 What are your expectations for him this week? I'm thinking about playing him over Ben Tate, Steven Jackson, and Marvin Jones as my RB/WR. Thoughts? Quote
blzrul Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Not sure he's even starting...he had the surgery in August, only practiced this week. Maybe the Adderol will help. Quote

FutureBillsGM Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Id try to deal him high while you can. I had a QB problem and was able to acquire Romo for Harvin who I picked up off waivers. Harvin MIGHT be a good start by fantasy playoff time but I don't see him doing much for a few weeks, Quote
dayman Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I think he'll have at least 1 huge play and probably a TD against his old team. IMO go w/ Harvin. Huge risk though. Quote
Johnny Hammersticks Posted November 16, 2013 Author Posted November 16, 2013 I think he'll have at least 1 huge play and probably a TD against his old team. IMO go w/ Harvin. Huge risk though. This is what I am thinking. Seattle has been very careful about bringing Harvin back. Now he is reported to be healthy and in good football shape, has practiced fully with his team, and is playing against his former team. Seattle's offense has been "sputtering" somewhat lately, so I see Carroll finding ways to get Harvin the ball in space. As far as the "sell-high" argument, I can't say that I haven't though about this. I think I will wait a week or so though. Quote
Matt in KC Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I have Harvin too. While I understand the appeal, I don't see how you can play him this week. My best guess is 3-4 catches for 40-45 yards and maybe a run for 4 yards. I think Ben Tate is a better choice for this week until we see how quick Harvin is, and how many snaps he plays. Quote
Johnny Hammersticks Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 Carroll said that Harvin will see a full workload after the bye week including returning kicks. Quote
