3rdand12 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Gentle folks i am going to effort an attempt to link my subject of reference here with a link. If that works i will start the dialoge about the possibilities coach Marrone mentioned recently . It seems we only have four receivers dressing for the game VS the nasty ole Jets. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2013/11/14/bills-have-other-options-if-just-4-wrs-sunday/ i hope this works !
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 This is why the jets went and got Ed Reed... They are very concerned about: Stone hands graham Marquise (French for made of glass) Goodwin 7-11 (where he'll be next year) Hogan And last but not least special teamer masquerading as WR Easley... EJ is going to check down more than Trent Edwards in a State Farm commercial.
K D Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 And meanwhile Geno is getting all of his weapons back in Holmes and Winslow. And David Nelson has been doing well. Wish we had him on our side still
3rdand12 Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 Oh good it did. I think this could make for an interesting game to watch . Because of how they coach it . More the play calling than the execution . Will the screen be reborn , a reverse. Play action ? how about more calls under the center and multiple backs for EJ. I am easily excited as you folks here might notice . But this game could be fun if you let it guys ! A chance for some players to shine or fail . Nothing to lose but pride. Let the play book Open Sesame This is why the jets went and got Ed Reed... YoloinOhio Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 And meanwhile Geno is getting all of his weapons back in Holmes and Winslow. And David Nelson has been doing well. Wish we had him on our side still That's probably the first time Winslow has been called a "weapon." But anyway, I think EJ will throw less than 25 times. Why are you shortchanging Goodwin? Even when he is hurt, he still plays. I agree this is not an overall/exciting group of WRs, but if they utilize the TE and the RBs in the passing game, run well and play D they have a chance. The Jets will definitely try to make EJ beat them with his arm. So we'll see how creative Hackett gets.

Thats the intrigue for me.What does Nathaniel have to show now that there is little need to protect the playbook or the players for that matter. I wish for EJ to toss it more than that because as you say , jets will sit on the line and play man till EJ tossing it far and high. and Goodwin catches it ! But i would be pleased to see the screens and some interesting line ups in the backfield and mabe some motions to get spiller and fred in some kind of space . If Easely and Hogan can execute a couple plays and earn some respect ... Same with Gragg. Hell i have seen Summers catch and run once or twice. or once. : ) Edited November 14, 2013 by 3rdand12
