Rodrak is a turd. Amazing bad it has gotten since TG left

What do you dislike about Rodak? I think he's done a solid job and his assessment of our team has been spot-on every week. A vast improvement over James Walker, who didn't seem to watch the actual games.

EJ checking the ball down is the key problem with him and of course the footwork issue. EJ or should I say, the QB position REALLY is what's holding us back. Our record is the way it is because of QB play. Not the defense and not the offensive line. I'm not saying we should be 8-2 but we could easily be 6-4 with better QB play.

While inexperience at QB is certainly affecting the Bills W/L record, so is our inability to run the ball in short ydg/ goal line situations, and our inconsistency stopping the run/ bad 3rd down defense. It's a bit simplistic to say it's due to checkdowns. Checking down too soon may be problematic for a young QB, but the Bills lack size at the WR position and don't consistently get separation vs man coverage. They do better against zone teams. The Bills will struggle to run on Sunday, not because Ryan will commit an extra defender to the "box" on early downs. They will struggle because the NYJ D line mauls them and wins the LOS on most plays. The Bills OL is not elite, and you overrate them as well as the D. The Jets mange to have a winning record despite their shortcomings at QB. They block and tackle better than most teams they play and can win some games with sub par QBing. The Bills are not strong enough in other areas to make up for their QB situation.

ESPN is more fluff then filler. They used to have real information on the team. When TG first got there he was in tune with the teams, he would work to give interesting articles and takes. He would get to know the teams and talk about how different players are being used - you know, reporting and analysis. Mike Walker began covering the AFCE and Bills and would just post news stories and quotes from others on their take on the issue - no original content. Rodrak tries to create original content but it reads more like Bleacher Report should then ESPN.

Jets are the top ranked run defense in the league. EJ better keep them honest or it'll be a long day for Buffalo on both sides of the ball.

Expect a long day for the Bills on both sides of the ball, unless the Bills OL manages to nut up and win the trenches vs Jets DL. A good ground game is their only chance. Who among the Bills WR's will scare the Jets "D"? Who can consistently beat man coverage on this roster? EJM has shown that he likes open receivers and is reluctant to "thread it in there" in man to man. We have no big WR's that can win jump balls, and Cromartie in particular is a big CB. I don't see a good matchup for the Bills to exploit in the passing game, maybe the odd deep shot to Goodwin to keep them honest. But we lack size at the WR position, a serious chain-mover type. This is a terrible matchup all around for the Bills O, and the D just isn't dominating enough to take the game over if the O is struggling. Look for a 27-13 Jets win.
