TC in St. Louis Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I think we'll beat those a-holes, but 3 games against teams coming off bye weeks? Is there another team in the league who has faced this idiotic setup?
KikO M G Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Bills also have no cross-country trips all season. Take the good with the bad.
Boatdrinks Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 With all the Thursday games, dual use stadiums, etc I doubt teams coming off bye weeks and who they face are given much consideration by the NFL schedule makers.
Billshank Redemption Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 This already was answered in the summer: In exchange for getting home games early in the season, we got a lot of teams playing off Byes. Brandon felt it was more important to sell out the home games. I tend to think winning takes care of any problems and have for 14 seasons now.

It's not some sort of bargaining event. It's just coincidence.
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 We also play the Falcons after they play a Thursday night game which is kind of like a bye for them and the week right after that we play the Jags who play the Thursday night game the week after the Falcons.
zow2 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Its overrated. I've noticed a few times this year that the teams coming off the bye looks very sluggish.
BRH Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Someone did an analysis after the schedule came out that showed the Bills had six such games (against teams coming off either byes or long weeks) and no other team in the NFL had more than three. I do not think it is a conspiracy to !@#$ Buffalo. Rather, I think it's that the league doesn't give a **** about us. That's just the way the cookie crumbled after the league took care of the teams it wanted to take care of.
K D Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 To make matters worse... 1. Rex spent the week game planning with his brother Rob (Saints DC) and picking his brain about us http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/30973/rex-visits-nawlins-for-intel-and-gumbo 2. Santonio Holmes is coming back from injury 3. Winslow is coming back from suspension 4. The Jets have won every other week so coming off the bye week this is the week they are due for a win. It's science
Tcali Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Bills have a cream puff schedule and still find every single way to lose. Scheduling 'quirks' are a non -issue and just another excuse.
