sodbuster Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Something about a cartoon mouse from the Orlando area...
billsfan714 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 (edited) Buddy tried but he dialed the wrong number and informed Willie Nelson he was released.. Edited November 12, 2013 by billsfan714
GG Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 The guy sucked. The team is so much better with Graham, Easley and Hogan.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 More front office incompetence headed by Russ Brandon. The guy sucked. The team is so much better with Graham, Easley and Hogan. Sarcastic I hope.
YoloinOhio Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 At this point, we only have David's side to this story. It is possible the Bills tried to contact him and/or his agent and didn't connect prior to the story was posted on Twitter ahead of when the team released it which happens all the time with the LaCanforas of the world.
NoSaint Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 (edited) To be fair, not tendering is different than releasing him. It's not like the bills filed paperwork and didnt clue him in - if I recall it was leaked, not announced and may not have been 100% when leaked for all he knows. Edited November 12, 2013 by NoSaint
Section242 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 In the Bills defense nobody fails at playing WR as spectacularly as T.J. Graham.

Damn those LaCanforas of the world!
Bangarang Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 He found out on Twitter? Okay, but did he find out on the official Bills twitter page or through one of the many insiders? Kind of a big difference.
bobinaz Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Does this mean Nelson will seek revenge and single handedly defeat the Bills?
Captain Hindsight Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 This happens so often in the NFL this is hardly news. Plus we didn't offer him a contract. We didn't release him.
Beerball Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 To be fair, not tendering is different than releasing him. It's not like the bills filed paperwork and didnt clue him in - if I recall it was leaked, not announced and may not have been 100% when leaked for all he knows. No, it's like the Bills didn't file paperwork and didn't clue him in.

That was the same thing I was going to add. I loved Nelson. He had heart, spirit, and a positivity that seemed to make others around him better - just a great upstanding young man. I will admit I am disappointed we didn't keep him. He seemed like a Steve Tasker type - maybe not the best athlete on the field or the most dynamic, fastest, whatever but when he was on the field there are times where he would just flat out play.
RussellDopeland Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 If I'm not mistaken, I believe I heard that Thurman Thomas found out about his release from an ESPN report. Classy Bills
