Max997 Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 That was frigging terrible Again run run pass in red zone
Bufcomments Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 EJ still learning, but he gots to give Stevie a chance
MDH Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I hate that call on 3rd down. If you're going to throw a fade do it on 2nd down. I also hate that call without a big WR who can go up and get the ball. Stevie is much better at finding a soft spot in the D than fighting for a jump ball.
Fixxxer Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 we're a bad red offense right now, I hope having a QB carrousel is the reason why, There's no familiarity between what the QB and WRs are thinking in such short field.
dave mcbride Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 run up the middle twice and then pass? Haven't we been down this road before? It doesn't freaking work!
LancasterSteve Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Rust, E J knock off the rust. Those Red Zone touch passes are going to make or break you
smuvtalker Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 (edited) Come on EJ, that was a pretty crappy attempt at a fade. Wilt Chamberlain couldn't have gone up and got that one... Edited November 10, 2013 by smuvtalker
stevestojan Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Next time it's 1st and goal, run it four times. We're not a playoff team so at least practice red zone running. Run run pass. I've actually seen people play Madden use more strategy.
MDH Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 That was frigging terrible Again run run pass in red zone I just don't get why they don't move the QB on roll outs in some of these situations. I see other teams do it all the time. He has the choice of running it or throwing it. Or some sort of misdirection play - make the D paying for selling out on the inside run.
jimmy10 Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 We all remember what happened at the goal line last week. At least we came away with points there.
Boatdrinks Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Hate the fade there. Too much precision/timing required. EJM has missed a month and we don't have a big WR /matchup guy for jump balls. Ditch the fade, Hackett.
Nitro Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Defenses have picked up the Bills inside the 10 yard line pattern. Run, run, pass. 11 for 27 scoring TDs in the red zone. 2nd worst in the NFL. What is there go to play? I can't think of one.

Couldn't agree more, not a fan of low percentage plays like that on third down Stevie and Fitz were good at that play
BRAWNDO Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I think a TE should be at the top of the Bills Offseason Wish List
Leelee Phoenix Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 'Analytics' is strongly against kicking 19 yard field goals.

dubs Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 (edited) That was a 10 point swing in our favor, HUGE. FG instead of INT returned for a TD. Big win. Edited November 10, 2013 by dubs
