Nitro Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Aggravating to watch a bottom 5 rushing offense gouge the Bills. They have to be aggressive and hit the gaps.
xsoldier54 Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Like watching a replay of the past few weeks. Lots of opportunities, no success. Let the opponent hang around until they put you away.
Big C Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Wasn't the Steelers pass protection supposed to suck?
Acantha Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 This "rusty" excuse is ridiculous. I don't expect EJ to be brilliant his rookie season, but Thad coming off the practice squad and Tuel starting his first game were throwing the ball down field. There is NO reason for Manuel to be held back.
dave mcbride Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Whenever you see a completely failed blitz like that you know it's going to esult in a completion.
Boatdrinks Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 He looked jittery against the Jets. The pass pro wasn't good in that game but EJ made it worse by his lack of poise. Yeah, that was one game outta 5. Steelers are a pressure D too. But this looks like rust, lack of timing/feel. He's not a seasoned vet, ease him back in with easy throws, not timing stuff.
Nitro Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 This drive started at their 12 yard line. UGH

Hackett calls a completely different game with EJ in there. last week he mixed it up beautifully to keep d off balance.
HamSandwhich Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Grain of salt for EJs first game back, but white flag for the season if we can't win
TAinLack. Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 we can all agree this is an ugly game. ...Wait till we play in Toronto - get the NODOZE ready!!!

It's 20-25 and he's a big enough man to get it there. Ben has thrown a few downfield to at least open things up. Don't need bombs. But 20 yards, at least.
BringBackFergy Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Over/Under on post game "Bench EJ" thread?? I'll set it at 1 minute 36 seconds after final whistle.
peterlaw Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 32 yards in the air so far. It's a disgrace.
