26CornerBlitz Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Called that when he was 1st picked up. Makes sense to me.
RuntheDamnBall Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Man, too bad for him. He did look excellent keeping that bench toasty. In all seriousness, I hope the dude put away some of that bank so he can quit the game and enjoy life. He certainly made a lot for doing little.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) @ChrisBrownBills Details on signing of FB Evan Rodriguez, former Bears 4th rounder (2012). #Bills http://ow.ly/qtIU3 With the news that EJ Manuel has been fully cleared to play coming off his knee injury, Buffalo made a roster move Monday. The team released QB Matt Flynn and signed free agent FB Evan Rodriguez to their 53-man roster. Rodriguez (6’2” 239) was a former fourth-round pick of the Chicago Bears (2012). The Temple product appeared in 12 games for the Bears as a rookie last season playing mostly on special teams. He had four receptions for 21 yards. Released by Chicago this past June, Rodriguez spent training camp with Miami before being released prior to the regular season. Rodriguez was a two-time first-team All-MAC selection as a tight end for the Owls. He finished his college career with 69 receptions for 871 yards and seven touchdowns. Flynn spent just three weeks on Buffalo's roster following the knee injury suffered by EJ Manuel. He never appeared in a game for the Bills. Edited November 4, 2013 by 26CornerBlitz

zow2 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Signed FB Evan Rodriguez I remember watching this guy when he was at Temple playing UB. I recall thinking he was a pretty good Tight End (i think that was his position there?). http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2013/11/04/a-closer-look-at-bills-new-fb-rodriguez/
NoSaint Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 not shocking. they really dont want to expose tuel and arent carrying 4 healthy qbs.
BigPappy Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Released. You beat me too it eball! BigPappy
JTO Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Beware, Evan Rodriguez was released not because of on field issues but because of off field issues. He was arrested twice. Once for DWI and the other for resisting arrest while DWI. This move leads me to believe that they will use him on special teams and give Easily more time on the field.
IDBillzFan Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Released by Chicago this past June, Rodriguez spent training camp with Miami before being released prior to the regular season. This is what happens when you don't make it rain on command for Cognito.
Storm Front Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Flynn must be pretty bad if they are letting him go over Tool.
BringBackFergy Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Thinking of starting a class action lawsuit against OBD for all those poor suckers who invested $80 on a Flynn jersey...let's see, that'll be a class of 5 fans x $80 = $400. After paying my administrative costs, legal fee and postage, there will be $ .43 to each of the aggrieved parties.

bananathumb Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Either they think Flynn is horrible or they actually like Thad Loses and Monkey Wrench.
