Bigfatbillsfan Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) Yeah, for all the blather about what TB 'did' to Freeman, I think they made the right decision to move on to Glennon. They ..."did" things to him? Edited November 4, 2013 by Bigfatbillsfan
Wayne Cubed Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Wins-Losses are team stats; not QB stats. This. What is the point of a thread like this? The Jest were 4-4 last week after getting their jocks handed to them by the Bengals 49-6. Geno threw 2 pick-6's. Why not start a thread like this last week? The Jest are 5-4 inspite of Geno.
dezertbill Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I don't like the guy but there is one reason the Jets are 5-4 and the Bills are 3-6. The Bills have a much better all-around team than the Jets but the Jets have gotten much better QB play. EJ hasnt played as many games as Geno so this is an inaccurate statement. You can't blame EJ for losses he didn't play in. If he was healthy, you don't know how EJ would have progressed. He was doing pretty good when he got hurt. I'm happy with EJ and I think he'll end up the better QB. Only time will tell though.
The Helmet of Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) every f*ucking time the jets win someone posts this. seriously, after every jet win this year someone posts this. then they lose the following week and no one says anything. geno smith has been below average this year. football fans are, by and large, stupid, borderline retarded. Watch the games. Geno Smith has been poor, to downright bad, 75% of the time. Do you realize he was benched last week due to incompetent play? Thad Lewis is better at this point, objectively speaking. grow some brains. Edited November 4, 2013 by MarkKelso'sHelmet
syhuang Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Smith is the reason the Jets are 5-4? Of course, Smith is the sole reason Jets are 5-4. Just like Dilfer is the only reason Ravens won their first superbowl. /sarcasm off
xsoldier54 Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Geno has stayed healthy as well. If EJ hadn't been hurt, we probably beat Cincinnati and who knows what our record would be now.
machine gun kelly Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Why is anyone comparing these guys when EJ hasn't played in a month? I'm pissed like everyone else about yesterday as I was proud of the coaching and by the stats alone we should have won this game. I couldn't believe the dropped passes that could have sealed the game. Those drops were not Tuel's fault, but then some of the bad throws where our WR were open, but over or under thrown.
Maury Ballstein Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) They won in spite of Geno. Ya gotta watch the games Geno was on pace for 12tds 26 ints. Lets not get all high on Geno. Uber streaky qb. He might be good down the road but for now he's a turnover machine. Edited November 4, 2013 by Ryan L Billz
Maury Ballstein Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 So wheres all my Geno lovers at ?
bills44 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 So wheres all my Geno lovers at ? <crickets>
MDH Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 So wheres all my Geno lovers at ? I love Geno quite a bit right now.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Geno seems to be a very slow decision maker. He might land a couple bombs per game, but in a general sense he needs loads and loads of time to succeed.
NoSaint Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 They are rookies - they will go up and down. Each have shown promise, and reasons they didn't go #1 too

The Helmet of Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 DAVE AND BUSTER'S DAVE AND BUSTER'S == HEY GENO, DID YOU HAVE FUN AT DAVE AND BUSTER'S?
Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I don't like the guy but there is one reason the Jets are 5-4 and the Bills are 3-6. The Bills have a much better all-around team than the Jets but the Jets have gotten much better QB play. not today, looks like they reversed roles for this one.
H2o Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Well, hopefully today's game puts this thread to rest.
