billsfanmiami(oh)
Why this guy is even on a roster is laughable.
CSBill
I'm sure he's a nice guy. I'm sure that his family loves him. But Jeff Tuel is obviously not an NFL-quality backup, and never will be. Get Flynn ready, and find someone else on the waiver wire. We don't need any more data or practice reps. He can't play. I'm glad he got that TD pass, because even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while and he'll need something to show his grandkids. But he needs to be released. Of course, he won't be because Ralph is concerned about full stadia and refills on tapioca. But I digress. just stop
J-Bo
If I'm the coach, I run it a third time from the 1 yard line and either score or kick the field goal to go up 13-3. KC's offense would have to respond, and they did not do squat through that point!!!!
Dorkington
I think he's fine, just not starter material right now. Once Thad and EJ are back, see if you can put Tuel on PS, and get rid of Dixon/Flynn.
todd
Huge mistake by marrone and whaley having two QBs with zero inexperience going into the season as our QBs. Stupid mistake.
tito1
He played about as well as Thad has been playing. He played bette than I thought he would, but I couldn't disagree anymore.
Rob's House
Oh my !@#$ing God. What did you guys expect out of a UDFA rookie? Yeah, he was bad. It's funny because when our first round pick sucks ass we're all reminded that he's a rookie, but when a guy who's lucky to make the roster plays a similarly poor game we get unbridled outrage. Simmer down, people. I know it's aggravating. I'm mad too, but let's not blast this kid for being in this position. RussellDopeland
It's amazing how mant Tuel apologists there are on this board. If, after that dreadful showing, you can say "Oh, he tried" or "Oh, he made a few mistakes", I honestly don't know what to say. I'm dumbfounded that anyone would defend such atrocious QB play. 5 Wide
Doesn't look like he has the arm strength to play in the NFL.
Keukasmallies
Defense looked good, improving with each passing week. Tuel was OK in my book; he played as well as Lewis, probably better than any of us expected. Drops are on the receiver, not the thrower. But for the penalties, dropped passes, etc, most of us wouldn't even question the play calling. Get over it, the Bills are in transition from a decade of awful to being an actual NFL team--two years to go!
Gray Beard
Embarrassing thread. AgreeWas it Tuel's fault that so many passes were dropped? He floats balls, but he didn't stink the place up by any means. He showed poise by throwing the ball away, running a little, and calling time-out at a smart time. He's not starter material, but as a THIRD STRING he's not that bad.
JohnnyBuffalo
He played as well as I expected. He didn't fumble for the TD. And that pick was blown coverage that was such dumb luck I can't stand it. Figure out how to power one in from the friggin 1 foot line and there are 2 more wins this year! Oh yeah someone needs to ask Chandler if was up for playing football today. That candy a$$ can't fight for YAC with the smallest db on him and nice hands today dude. What a giant wuss. DefenseWinzChampionshipz
He's not good but who is healthy and better? This loss is on Hackett much more than Tuel. Missing Stevie in the endzone and throwing a pick 6 was the game. All Tuel, not Hackett. Sorry man. You wrong on that one big time.
RyanC883
Thad didn't have 8 drops by his receivers. Thad took 5 sacks a game, Tuel took zero. Thad had 2-3 turnovers per game, tuel had 2. They played about the same. Tuel's turnovers handed KC 10 points.
Security
Thad has completed 60% of his passes and has a QBR of 80. It's not even close I wish we had Tarvaris Jackson still. I think QBR somehow needs to include fumbles, Thad puts the ball on the ground. QBR needs to computer fumbles and fumbles lost somehow.
LB3
I guarantee there are at least 20 guys who could be in uniform tomorrow better than Jeff Tuel. Horrible comment. Name twenty 3rd string qbs off of the top of your head.

Nyghtewynd
Oh my !@#$ing God. What did you guys expect out of a UDFA rookie? I expect a semi-competent NFL franchise to never have to start a QB as bad as an UDFA rookie. When they do, it's on them.
