bills44 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I think that, at this point, I'd rather see Brad Smith line up behind center.
MDH Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Gilmore has shown me zero today D has allowed 6 points and Gilmore has shadowed Bowe and kept everything in front of him only letting him get nickle and dimes. I'll take it every Sunday. Bowe is averaging less than 10 yards a catch with a LONG of 12 yards. Those types of numbers will never get you beaten.
Nitro Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Hackett's play calling inside the 10 yard line has been baffling most of this season. Hope he gets it together when the Bills get back down there. Teul needs all the help he can get.
Big C Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Keep in mind the defense has not allowed a TD yet. We can still do this. No more turnovers.
3putt Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Why put it in the hands of a rookie (who is pretty poor really) when you have two great running backs and a competent 3rd? Idiotic call by Hacket who were stuffed twice in a row with penetration...
tito1 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Does anyone else want to punch a wall right now?
Tcali Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) I actually think Hackett is calling a good game. Lots of plays being left on the field by poor execution. That's what happens with a qb like Tuel. that last pass---low % in critical 4th and 3 Edited November 3, 2013 by Tcali
CSBill Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) Hackett doesn't know how to finish, just way too predictable in the red zone. Edited November 3, 2013 by CSBill
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Hackett really left tuel out to dry. Needs to keep the kid gloves on.
Beerball Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 Bills are not tough mentally. Disagree, this is the biggest improvement I've seen on the team this season.
Boatdrinks Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Why put it in the hands of a rookie (who is pretty poor really) when you have two great running backs and a competent 3rd? Idiotic call by Hacket I don't usually defend him, but he ran something like 13 of the previous 15 plays to that point. The yardage called for some kind of pass, a run would just be a very short punt there. Went with the easiest safest throw though it was a low percentage play.
Max997 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 who were stuffed twice in a row with penetration... So why not run to the right where they have had success or play action bootleg...shotgun spread at the one is dumb
bills44 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 KC has to be the worst 8-0 team in NFL history.
ganesh Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Disagree, this is the biggest improvement I've seen on the team this season. I meant today.
Beerball Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 that last pass---low % in critical 4th and 3 That wasn't the #1 option.
zonabb Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Bills are not tough mentally. They need to have a scoring drive here. +1 Psychology is everything. At some point this tem needs to break the mold and change the psychology of perpetual losing. Maybe but I doubt it.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 I actually think Hackett is calling a good game. Lots of plays being left on the field by poor execution. That's what happens with a qb like Tuel. Hackett has called a good game except for that set of downs, IMO. who were stuffed twice in a row with penetration... Sometimes you score on the third try.
3putt Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Disagree, this is the biggest improvement I've seen on the team this season. +1
G-Daddy Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) KC has to be the worst 8-0 team in NFL history. But we would take it if we were 8-0. Edited November 3, 2013 by DGW54321
