The QB injuries are not to be believed this year. Thad listed as doubtful for Sunday. Basically conceding the most important game of the season. Usually a very hopeful fan but this is getting tough. Thought the team was going to make a statement on Sunday. Seems nearly impossible now.

You have a lot to learn about ranting my friend. You didn't threaten to revoke your Bills fan-dom even once! :)

Let's review:

> Buddy is secretly recorded by pranksters voicing his displeasure in Fitz, effectively killing our chance to re-negotiate with him as a quality backup.

> Kevin Kolb is sacked and injured by a wet mat in training camp. He returns to pre-season action just in time for a concussion to end his career.

> UDFA Jeff Tuel - though clearly not ready for real NFL action - plays just good enough in training camp, that our front office is forced to keep him on the active roster.

> Our first top QB draft pick in a decade injures his knee twice in roughly 5 games worth of NFL action.

> Thad Lewis (3rd/4th string) actually plays well enough to give us a chance. So naturally, he goes down with the season on the line.

Yeah. Cursed sounds about right.

They weren't forced to and most teams wouldn't have.

12th Man + Run Game + Defense + positive thoughts = hope. Lets not go to the dark side here. Positive thoughts. special teams TD, turnovers, never know with this years group. beat up at QB, but it can be done. Think Tuel at Indy in preseason. kid pitched the rock around pretty good there. Frank Reich 1.5 maybe.

Just for the record Manuel was the Bills first pick QB ever.

The fact that most on this board and, more importantly, on the Bills coaching staff, believe that Tuel is a better option than Flynn proves to me that this team has been a loser for so long that no one knows how to win anymore!

Trying to rant better here...

IMO it doesn't make too much difference if you start a bad, crappy or mediocre QB. With all of those options you must rely upon the rest of the team and coaching to win the game. It's only when you get a QB who is good or better that it actually makes much difference to W/L.

As none of our QB options(even EJ at this point) could be considered to be above mediocre, I don't really see much difference in our chances to win with any of them starting.
