KikO M G Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Tuel and Flynn taking first team reps, per Chris Brown...
26CornerBlitz Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Tuel and Flynn taking first team reps, per Chris Brown... Not surprised given the punishment he absorbed in the Saints game. Have to admire his toughness.
FLFan Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Tuel and Flynn taking first team reps, per Chris Brown... He is pretty sore at the very least. May just be an extra day of rest for his ribs. As inconsistent as he has been, I hate the thought of starting Jeff Tuel against the Chiefs.
zow2 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 He must be feeling really bad. I mean it's not like he doesn't need the practice or something. If Tuel starts we're gonna lose. If Thad starts i think it's 50/50.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Great. The guy I am playing this week in my fantasy league has the Chiefs defense CBF
Gugny Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Jeff Tuel should never play QB in an NFL game again. He sucks and if he plays, it will be a schit show.
DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 This game just got tougher than it initially was...
K D Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Oh well more reps for Flynn. I'd like to see him take over the backup job from Tuel and we can send Tuel to the practice squad
Gugny Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Flynn, and his two lifetime starts in meaningless games, doesn't make me feel comfortable at all. I seriously hope this is strictly precautionary.
KikO M G Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 Flynn and Tuel will address the media. E.J. and Thad won't. Not looking good... Silver lining is Manuel took 2nd team reps along with Dixon. Freddie and Stevie also not practicing...
Spiderweb Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Lewis played very poorly against the Saints from almost any measure. Lewis has proven he may be a keeper but only if a lot of work improves his game. Those fumbles are killers and his high throw after high throw must stop. He was a D- at best against the Saints.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 When do we start the "what draft pick will we end up with?" threads? CBF
Fan in Chicago Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Jeff Tuel should never play QB in an NFL game again. He sucks and if he plays, it will be a schit show. I wouldn't go that far. After all he was an undrafted QB. Given time, training, he may develop into a backup in 2-3 years time. I am just not sure we will continue to have an open roster spot for him.
KikO M G Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 If Thad can't go Sunday, it would almost certainly mean a loss in by far the most important game of the season. Soul-crushing stuff.
Bufcomments Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Tuel and Flynn taking first team reps, per Chris Brown... Seriously, I thought he broke his ribs after that hit on the first play. hope he suits up on Sunday
Gugny Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 If Thad can't go Sunday, it would almost certainly mean a loss in by far the most important game of the season. Soul-crushing stuff. I hate to be pessimistic, but I have to agree. I consider this game a must-win and it is simply not winnable with Tuel or Flynn playing.
The Big Cat Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Guys. Jesus. The Bills don't need flashy QB play to beat the Chiefs overly aggressive and opportunistic D. They need a game manager who can stay out of trouble. Alex Smith is not Drew Brees. Their main offensive catalyst is Jamaal Charles. He's their leading rusher AND receiver. This game will come down to running and stopping the run. Quite frankly, of the three, I trust Thad LEAST when it comes to avoiding the mistakes that will or won't cost us Sunday's game.
Big C Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Let's wait until tomorrow and Friday to worry. It may just be precautionary. It better be. Guys. I don't disagree entirely, but without some of our best playmakers, is game managing going to be enough? Jamaal Charles is a constant threat and their defense will shut us down if we can't open the field up a little.
KikO M G Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 Will find out soon in post-practice interviews.
