Maybe you should change your question to "Where is our QB" because Woods can't catch passes not thrown to him.

if woods was really that good he would just throw the ball to himself, duh

I think there are many factors for Woods decline. Mostly as you guys have pointed out about middle of the field and also being a secondary option that Thad has been unable to find.

I also wonder if Thad having time in practice with Graham and Goodwin has anything to do with their seemingly more involvement?

Woods is going to be very very good. Honestly the past 3 games watching Graham and Goodwin make some catches has also been nice to witness.

Lets hope we have a very good young core of WR's and we have a QB(EJ) that will make them all happy with opportunities.

When Doug Flutie was languishing on the bench, he practiced a lot with a receiver who had difficulty getting playing time, Eric Moulds. But when Rob Johnson went down and Flutie took over, and Flutie Mania hit, suddenly his practice buddy went from being a bust to a revelation. On a smaller scale, that's what's happened with the much-reviled TJ Graham since Thad took the reins. Right now, I wonder if Matt Flynn is developing something similar with Easley and maybe Hogan, and that if he has to take over, might one or the other of them become his go-to guy.

I heard that Woods said Lewis' Mom so ugly people at the circus pay money NOT to see her.

Thats why Lewis won't throw to him.

I don't get the Easley stuff. Do we really believe he is a dominant force in practice that they'd just rather play stone hands Graham and not quite welker (hogan) ahead of him in games.

Size and speed are mere filters(and with exceptions) and there is obviously something that makes him THE WORST WR on the team.

Remember when Stevie was in exactly the same situation, unable to get on the field ahead of guys like Hardy? There was a faction around here that thought he'd be great if given a chance, and another, larger faction that shared your opinion, that if he wasn't getting playing time, it was because he wasn't good enough. Not saying Easley is another Stevie, just that he might be and we won't know until he gets regular time in the offense with a decent QB.

The problem that I have seen with Thad Lewis moreso than any other is his pocket awareness. He is not necessarly slow, but everything he does seems so deliberate that it allows defenses time to load up on him. That is true whether he is rrunning with the ball, waiting for a play to develop or going through his progressions. I am not sure if it is an issue with his mechanics -- or if he has been over-coached to the point that he reacts almost robotically. How this relates to Woods, is that I suspect that Woods has not been the 1st read on most plays -- and Lewis just does not have the time to get to him. In many ways, Manuel has almost the opposite problem -- as his pacing is so frentic that he goes through his reads almost too quickly.
