tedstrong Posted October 31, 2013 Author Posted October 31, 2013 (edited) Has anyone else noticed in recent years that it seems like fans are making more noise when we are on offense than defense? It drives me friggin crazy. There are lots and lots of inexperienced fans at the Ralph. I thought that knowing when to get loud was like football 101 or something. Apparently not. Teach...your children well...DEFENSE!!! Edited October 31, 2013 by tedstrong
8-8 Forever? Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 ONLY on DEFENSE people. This is not get bombed and blabber all day. this is get bombed and yell at the top of your lungs when we are on DEFENSE. Act like the 12th man. We are likely to have a QB out there who will be confused and unsure. 30,000 drunks screaming in his ear only hurts the cause.
TedWilliamsFrozenHead Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Rich Stadium held 80,240 fans(or thereabouts). "The Ralph" holds about 73,000.(essentially two different facilities) The noise level has never been the same since the stadium was reconfigured, and will never reach that deafening level of glory ever again.

Much of what you say is true: 80,020 (1972-1983) 80,290 (1984-1994) 80,024 (1995-1998) 75,339 (1999-2000) 73,967 (2001-2007) 73,079 (2008–present) Curiously though, by the testimony of many long-time Bills fans the 2007 MNF game against the Cowboys was as loud a home game as the Bills have ever played in.
