Braedenstearns Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 (edited) Did anyone hear anything on it? I know he was having stuff done today, but does anyone know how bad it is and how long he will be out if any? http://m.buffalobills.com/s/30841/367?itemPos=12&itemUri=1439349777%2F115629071413113121411111521421 Edited October 28, 2013 by Braedenstearns
5 Wide Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I hope its not serious, he had some nice grabs in the game. He looked like a football player, not a track guy posing as one.

Isn't Goodwin now 6'3" with the way Thad had him stretching out to catch passes yesterday? Edited October 28, 2013 by 26CornerBlitz
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I am fearing the worst. He immediately sprinted off the field after it, clutching it. Wouldn't be surprised if he broke or dislocated it, and is out the rest of the season. You have to question whether these awesome, but small, slot receivers are worth the draft picks and money, being so prone to injury. We saw this with Roscoe. Other smaller slot guys seem to be contstantly dinged up, as well (Collie, Amendola).
Boatdrinks Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I hate to fear the worst, but this guy seems fragile. Two injuries in what, 4 games? One was a broken bone. You tend to hit the turf a lot as a WR. Doesn't bode well. I like what I've seen from him. Its a shame. Some guys just can't withstand the contact of this game. Welker is not big, and takes a ton of shots, but is rarely injured. You just can't tell.

Canadian Bills Fan Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Isn't Goodwin now 6'3" with the way Thad had him stretching out to catch passes yesterday? LOL I was thinking the same thing. Surprised he didnt tear his rotator cuff or dislocate his shoulder CBF

26CornerBlitz Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 @buffalobills Marrone: no MRI for Stevie Johnson (hip flexor), X-ray's negative for Marquise Goodwin. Lawson, Spiller will be evaluated this week.

zow2 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Injuries are part of the way players are judged overall. If a guy is injury-prone, unfortunately he's not all that valuable and will never live up to his potential. Hopefully Goodwin and EJ prove to be durable after this season.

DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Isn't Goodwin now 6'3" with the way Thad had him stretching out to catch passes yesterday? No. He looks ridiculous with long arms now but he's still the same height. He looks like those inflated things at car washes with the long arms blowing in the wind...
billsfan_34 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Kinda the same with Manuel. It might just be some bad luck. We will see Manuels injury wasnt bad luck , it was a rookie qb who didnt know when to get out of bounds. Sorry to disagree with you.
eball Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 X-rays were negative on Goodwin's elbow. Marrone said he'll be limited in practice early this week.
Direhard Fan Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 If you want to stay around as a QB in this league you have to throw the ball first and foremost. Run when in trouble and learn how to slide. Results are poor for your health when you become a runner. Manual was trying to be a runner. Won't work.

Mark Vader Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Isn't Goodwin now 6'3" with the way Thad had him stretching out to catch passes yesterday? Glad to hear that Goodwin's injury is not as serious as feared. Goodwin is showing that he can do more than run a deep route. He made some nice catches yesterday. Let's hope this injury stuff is not a recurring theme, because he could turn out to be something special.
