BADOLBILZ Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Will the Pats give up on Gronk before the big money kicks into his deal at the end of 2015? This year he is making peanuts for a base salary and his base salaries are only around $4-$5M until his $10M bonus kicks in after the 2015 season. That doesn't seem like a lot, but the Patriots wouldn't pay for a healthy Wes Welker so you gotta wonder how much longer they will tolerate Gronk. When they do give up, isn't it a given that the Bills will need a TE? Will there be a parade when the Bills sign him?
YoloinOhio Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I'll take him! The injuries scare me though. He'd have to call TO to get the key to the city.

filthymcnasty08 Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 A little hometown flare wouldn't hurt us....and who better....would be awesome to see. He should have never been anything but a Bill - ahem-Torell Troup....had to say it.
Captain Hindsight Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 IF the Patriots give up a player, usually it means he is done. HGH is used in my franchises like in NE

Captain Hindsight Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Welker? Different situation, that was about money, not production
Fingon Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Why are we even talking about this? The only way the Pats let him go is if he continues to be injury prone. His back has been !@#$ed up since college. I'll pass.

Since he signed his new contract it has been a series of complaints about his health and behavior. The base salaries start kicking up next season.
Clockwork Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 I'd sign him up in a heartbeat. This is a player, where at points over the last few seasons was the most dominant offensive player in the NFL.
YoloinOhio Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Not to mention we NEED a TE like this on our offense to get to the next level.
