Kemp2Warlick Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Chris Brown @ChrisBrownBills1m Mario's strip sack on Sports Science http://wp.me/plmrg-917
KGUNBILLS Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 It's true, great players make great plays in clutch situations.
Bills Fan in Beantown Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 That was an amazing push that he had the tackle. It will be interesting to see whether the Saints game planning for Mario opens up opportunities for Marcel and Kyle.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Pretty cool. It's also interesting to see how Hughes just drove his guy right into Tannehill-- they turned him into a sandwich.
boyst Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 heh... strip. sack. heh. I want to see the timing of his sacks this year, some of them have been incredibly quick. That first sack, was it? against Tanney was so fast you did not even realize what happened. It looked like a sack drill in practice.
MyHorseAteTheKid Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 I'm buying into the "Super Mario" thing.. Seems like he is in the backfield the entire game... It's really fun to watch this guy play

That was what you could truly deem a "lookout block" because all Clabo had time to do was yell "LOOKOUT!!!"
boyst Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 That was what you could truly deem a "lookout block" because all Clabo had time to do was yell "LOOKOUT!!!" I watched the gif version of that sack many times. I could not even see where Clabo messed up. He just didn't get a block on him. Mario was so quick that he beat him flat out and used his speed to get there. It was impressive.
5 Wide Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 also love watching what Hughes did to the RB on that play. He literally picked him up off his feet and threw him into Tannehill.

ko12010 Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 I do believe we have gotten the better of that trade we made with Indy Just curious, because I haven't been following that closely--how is Kelvin doing with the Colts? Anyone been watching him?
uncle flap Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Just curious, because I haven't been following that closely--how is Kelvin doing with the Colts? Anyone been watching him? He's a third stringer that barely sees the field.
H2o Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Just curious, because I haven't been following that closely--how is Kelvin doing with the Colts? Anyone been watching him? 3rd String ILB and ST'mer with 16 tackles and 1 sack on the season so far.
eball Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 If -- and it's a big if -- Mario stays healthy and continues to play at his current level for the next four seasons, we'll be talking about watching a Hall of Famer. His combination of strength and speed is astounding. Kudos to Buddy for going out and getting this guy.
K D Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 You see Mario make a play like that and you understand what all of the hoopla is about (drafted #1, $100 mil contract, etc). The guy is a beast. I expect some double teams tomorrow so hopefully Kyle and Marcel can get in the backfield
Charles Romes Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 You can somewhat contain a truly great DE for 68 of 70 snaps. But if you miss twice the game is over. That's why it's worth $100 mill for a guy like this.
