Canadian Bills Fan Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Last night I was offered Ryan Matthews and Antonio Brown for Harry Douglas I accepted the trade this morning. I am in a 10 team standard league where you start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 D/ST, and 1 K each week. My Running backs are Lacy, Jackson/Spiller, Ivory and Powell My WR's are Demeryius Thomas, Jordy Nelson, and Mike Wallace I am interested in what you all think. Thanks everyone! Quote
Buftex Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I think you made out alright in this trade... while I like your running backs, you could use another, and Matthews seems to be, finally, emerging as the Charges go to guy..and their offense has been very productive. So that is a big plus. For me, Douglas, just because of circumstances, may post better numbers that Brown down the stretch (I only say may...if Roddy struggles more, Douglas production will get less and less each week, IMO)...but with the receivers you have, I would imagine you would be starting Thomas and Nelson over Douglas or Brown, either way..so you gave up little for a #1 receiver, and a #1 running back. Good job! Quote
Canadian Bills Fan Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 Thanks! I forgot to mention that I claimed Douglas off of waivers 2 weeks ago. And you are right, I always start Nelson and Thomas so Brown would only be a bye week filler Quote
Johnny Hammersticks Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Agreed, good deal to bolster your RB corps. Harry Douglas could be an absolute monster down the stretch, but your WR's are pretty solid anyway and Brown is a solid addition. Well done. Quote
thespaniard Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I like it, nice job. Douglas is hot right now but will come back to earth when Roddy returns. In return you got two guys who can help you all year, not just the next few weeks. Quote
