Solomon Grundy Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Would anyone like to add either or both to the roster? I think Scheffler is an improvement over Lee Smith. I'd like to add Redman as a way to rest Spiller a couple of games and to use as another short yardage back. Thoughts?
Fingon Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Lee Smith is a blocking TE, while Scheffler is basically a WR. If this were 3 years ago, I would probably say yes. It doesn't really make sense now, neither would be an upgrade over Chandler. I think the Bills will look for a power forward type TE in the draft.
CSBill Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 (edited) I think Gragg will soon develop into a top tier TE, I doubt the Bills will draft one, unless a real stud is there for the taking Edited October 22, 2013 by CSBill
Rubes Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 What's the story with Sheffler? I thought he was supposed to be a pretty good TE. Is he old? Injured?
FireChan Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I heard Washington is thinking about signing Redman. They figure it's a solid PR move.
ALF Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 "On October 22, 2013, Scheffler was released by the Lions after suffering his third concussion in four years earlier in the month"
plenzmd1 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 (edited) r. I think the Bills will look for a power forward type TE in the draft. I am biased being a Richmond Season ticket holder, but every time I watch this guy play hoops I want him playing TE on the Bills. 6'6..270, athletic and can run. Plays physical on the court, always wonder if it translates http://www.richmondspiders.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=629632&SPID=91946&DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=26800&ATCLID=205206249&Q_SEASON=2013 I heard Washington is thinking about signing Redman. They figure it's a solid PR move. Now that's funny as chit! Edited October 23, 2013 by plenzmd1
