John from Riverside Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Remember how fired up he was after that fin player knocked his helmet off? No he didnt go into a shell after that.....he went the exact other direction....GOT TO like that I really like this team
Captain Hindsight Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 That throw that preceeded the hit too was gutsy. He reminds me of Fitz with a better arm. Over 16 games he will suck, 3-4 he will be decent and give you a shot to win

Frank Reich came in and won games, Thad can do the same thing. but who knows, maybe he continues to make plays and makes a run as a starter, even tho kinda hoping he doesn't b/c I really like EJ. Tall, strong, good arm...seems like a good kid
Dean Cain Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 tom brady once did something similar after it appeared nate clements scrambled his brain on a bone jarring hit that could be heard throughout the stadium.

Tall, strong, good arm...seems like a good kid He is a fairly good back up... If he were any better he might be a legit starter... Looking back at his performance in preseason, it was pretty much what we have been seeing.. He makes some big plays with his feet and arm, yet other times is inconsistant.. Just enough to get you a win if all other phases of the team perform as they should... Bottom line, The Bills could have done a lot worse than Thaddeus Lewis!!!
SF Bills Fan Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I thought the same thing. He didn't retreat or get intimidated. He got fired up and channeled it into some good play. in fact he, Fred and Mario all seized control of the team and seemed to step it up as game progressed. Particularly Thad.

zow2 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I'm surprised the hit and Thad's reaction didn't get any National airtime on Monday. It really was violent. If that was Brady or dare I say Geno, we would've seen clips of it in every highlight package.
Gasjuggler Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I still think he can improve more. No training camp and only 3 starts. Did Jenkins get fined for that hit?
